Committing to therapy is a commitment of your resources of time, energy, attention, finances, and bandwidth to the therapeutic process. I know this is hard work and I do not take this commitment lightly. I am humbled by the folx who choose to take this journey of change and transformation. I am honored to walk beside the folx who chose to do this work with me.
I will ask you how much time between sessions you can reasonably commit to intentionally tending to your process. This will look different for everyone both in time and activity. There is no "right" amount, but there will be the amount that works for you.

Inquire to discuss a full or half day retreat for healing in relationship. Relationship retreats are intensive counseling sessions for two to five adults in relationship. This is suitable for romantic partnerships, platonic partnerships, friends, business relationships, and adult family members.
I am a private pay clinician which means I do not bill insurance.
Payments for service are processed the day of your session through our HIPPA compliant Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) service. You will not have to exchange payments in person, which allows your session time to be maximized. Your preferred form of payment will be securely stored in our EHR when you are invited to create a portal account after booking your intake session.
I may be an out of network (OON) provider for some insurances. There is a significant difference in insurance coverage between agencies and even between policies within agencies, this can change from year to year. Speaking with your policy representative is the best way to get clarity around what your specific benefits are.
If you are interested in the OON repayment process, please verify coverage with your provider prior to our first session by asking the questions below. You can access your receipt of payment (invoice/super-bill) at any time through the client portal. If your insurance company offers out of network benefits*, you can print off and submit your super-bill for reimbursement according to your out of network benefits. Please know insurance requires a medically necessary mental health diagnosis be assigned in order to be reimbursed for care.
*Please check your out of network (OON) coverage carefully by calling the customer service of your insurance company and asking the following questions:
My intention for this meeting is to determine if we are a good fit and if I will be able to provide the support that would most benefit you.
I would like to explore:
Once we determine we are a good fit for your goals, we'll schedule your 90-minute intake session. You'll receive an invitation to create your client portal where you will fill out your intake paperwork before this initial session.
The purpose of the intake session is to create a container for the work we will be doing and ground our time together.
Most of my clients will meet weekly for 50- or 80-minutes.
We will be getting to know each other and building our therapeutic relationship over the first few sessions.
We will engage with IFS, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic awareness as needed. We will consider your mind-body-spirit as well as social, historical, cultural, developmental, and environmental factors that influence your wellness.
All of the modalities I use have the common thread of supporting your innate ability to heal. In our ongoing work, I will continuously circle back to fostering your capability to thrive.
The time will come when you are ready to move on. This may be because you have finished a piece of work, reached a goal, or decide to take time to integrate.
Our goal at this phase is to end therapy well and provide space for a supported transition and healthy completion. This phase, like the rest of the process, is designed to best support client needs.
What's after ending therapy well?
Some folx leave for a time, live life, and return with new goals after integrating the work we did. This is normal. We are constantly growing, changing, and unfolding. It makes since to do some work, go out into the world and have new experiences, discover new areas you'd like to work on, and return to do some more work.
