We value integrating the mind, body, and spirit for embodied healing so you can show up as your authentic Self, increase your vitality, and foster supportive interpersonal connections.

IFS is a powerful, evidence-based psychotherapeutic model developed by Richard Schwartz. This modality normalizes multiplicity of the mind and posits we are all whole and have Self-energy that heals our system. Throughout life, we have Parts which take on roles to protect us from people, events, and circumstances. Parts can show up as anxiety, depression, rage, disordered eating, addiction, disassociation, perfectionism, avoidance, and pretty much any other symptom you can think of. When Parts' behaviors that once protected us no longer serve us, we can work towards Self-Leadership and help the Parts realize they can take on a new role.
-Level 1 trained through the IFS-Institute
-Level 2 trained through the IFS-Institute in partnership with IFIO
-IFS and complex trauma with Frank Anderson
-Level 3 trained with Richard Schwartz, Ph. D.
IFIO expands the IFS model into relational dynamics addressing the issues we have when we are in relation to another. It is an experiential model of relationship therapy of healing in partnership developed by Toni Herbine-Blank and incorporates aspects of psychodynamic theory, systems thinking, and neuroscience as well as IFS.
The IFIO model is applicable to couples, co-parents, partnerships (romantic, business, etc.), friendships, adult family members, and more. Heal what is creating disconnect, miscommunication , misunderstanding, boundary confusion, relationship ruptures, separation, and frustration. Learn a new way to connect.
Somatic IFS uses somatic awareness, conscious breathing, somatic resonance, mindful movement, and attuned touch to bolster the mind-body connection and foster the state of embodied self energy. This practice was developed by Susan McConnell incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapy and somatic therapies including Hakomi Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Somatic IFS facilitates healing the relationship between our body and mind.

EMDR facilitates our brain's natural healing process. In this therapy, the client will experience bilateral stimulation as they reprocess distressing experiences. When our system was overwhelmed by an event in the past, we were not able to properly store the memory and can become activated in our current experience by some fragmented part of the past memory. Sometimes we do not even realize we are making choices now based on events from the past. This process changes the way a distressing memory is stored in the brain. We'll be able to access the memory and any lessons learned from it, but we will no longer have instinctual or gut reactions we do not understand based on the original experience.
One of the benefits of EMDR therapy is that the client gets to choose how much of the target experience they want to talk about.
Offering ongoing, adjunct, and intensive EMDR sessions.
-EMDRIA approved Basic EMDR training
We are thinking beings and when our thinking parts or beliefs get the in way of our goals, ACT is a great way to mindful awareness to our thought process.
This approach helps clients increase psychological flexibility which helps them see more potential. It helps one realize there are options and choices. Some folx find they do not have practice identifying or making choices. Some folx do not know who they really are which impacts the ability to make meaningful goals. ACT has processes that takes one through the steps of identifying what they-not their family, not their community- value. Then they can see how to make choices that will bring them closer to their goals. An ACT approach helps folx realize they are not their feelings. One can have a strong feeling and still live intentionally.
Trauma informed care takes a holistic look at a person's life experiences. There are various forms and frequencies of trauma. Instead of labeling a person who has a challenging behavior, we look at what happened to that person and support their process of healing the trauma in their system. Then they can learn a new way to move through the world.
Trauma is not just an event. Trauma is how an event we could not process at the time of its occurrence continues to live in our bodies. Trauma informed care helps your system process past trauma so it becomes an event in the past rather than something you are constantly reacting to (or being triggered by) in your current life.

I take time to examine my intersectionality. I identify my areas of privilege and my biases. I strive to be mindful of folx experiences in the fullness of their past, present, and future. This is ongoing work. The universe is amazing and beautiful in all its expressions. I aim to show up with authenticity. I am also aware cultural and systemic structures create inequity and know this creates a disproportionate impact on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folx.
I am a nonjudgmental, trauma informed, client-centered practitioner orienting to somatic, depth, and multicultural-feminist therapeutic approaches.
All of my work as a therapist orients to the client's ability to heal themself. I guide folx in their self-healing and I have tools to facilitate this process.
